Yesterday Milo turned the big 5. With that, came a new revelation that he is no longer a little boy and now a "big" boy. He is now really into Star Wars and has been watching Star Wars and the Empire Strikes back, over and over again. Thank goodness as we were getting a bit tired of Thomas the Tank Engine...

Fishing with Grandpa Ky

Last Tuesday, Cosimo, Grandpa Ky and I, took a quick day trip to Mt. Vernon to go fishing. Although we did not catch anything, it was great to hang out with Grandpa Ky, because he is suffering from Alzheimer's disease. It was one a the few chances we get to hang out with the 3 generations of Nguyen clan. All 3 of us happen to be the oldest of the boys in our family. Which is suppose to be somewhat unique.

Nintendo maniac

Janeiro made the mistake of informing our sweet and clever little Milo, that if he continued to play his nintendo all day it would hurt his brain. Well his solution was, mommy I have a helmut on now and it will protect my brain. Clever. Unfortunately, the helmut now remains on his head all day and night until he falls asleep, then and only then can I remove it without him drop kicking me.
